Subject:HELP - Sound Forge has caused my laptop to crash

Running on an IBM T20 laptop, Win XP.

After operating for a short time, Sound Forge froze the entire system. Now, when I try to restart it I get "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_DEVICE". The system is completely dead.

HELP!
