I have several interviews that have some wind noise. I there a way to clean this up a bit? |

If you have the Noise Reduction plugin, you could try that. However, wind is usually very dynamic and Noise Reduction only handles more constant noises well. You did say "interviews", which i presume means mostly spoken voice. Most voices occupy only a small section near the middle of the frequency spectrum. Wind is a very wideband noise with a lot of the most annoying parts happening in lower and higher frequencies. Graphic EQ should let you elimiate frequencies outside the normal vocal range (perhaps 300Hz to 3KHz), which will cut down on a lot of the wind noise, but not affect the voices much. |
