I'm using Acid 4.5 and was wondering if it is possible to use the Record feature to convert Tapes and Vinyl to Wave format. I have already tried to do this using the the proper set up of line out/line in from my stereo to my sound card which has worked with other Recorders but although i can see the Wave file created i can't hear it on playback. Is there something i can do to remedy this or is this feature just not available with Acid pro? Thanks in advance. |

I've never tried to record anything in Acid, so I don't know what it looks like while recording. But if you can see the wave, I would think it would play. Have you painted the wave into the track? If not, you can do it quickly by turning snapping and paint modes on, then holding down CTRL and clicking at the start of the track. If that doesn't work, have you tried pulling your Acid-recorded wave file into an audio editor and playing it there, just to be sure the actual file is okay? If it doesn't play there, either, somebody else is going to have to help you with all the routing stuff. |
