Subject:Sound Recording Help Posted by: derekb Date:1/6/2003 6:04:46 PM I'm pretty new to Sonic Foundry 4.5 and have been trying to use it to convert Cassette/Vinyl to Wave format. I'm using the proper set up of line in/line out from my stereo to PC which has worked ok with other sound recorders but not with SF4.5. When i've finished recording i can see the Wave file i've created but cannot hear it on playback.I'm not even sure if i can use SF 4.5 to convert my cassettes/vinyl but if this is possible could someone please tell how i should do it or how i can remedy these problems i am experiencing. Thanks in advance.
Subject:RE: Sound Recording Help Reply by: rraud Date:1/7/2003 4:29:32 PM Does your sound playback normally in other applcations with .wav files like in the MS sound recorder or MS Media player. ? If so, Go to SF menu bar Tools> Options> Wave and select the proper sound card for playback.
