Subject:Opening File

Attempts to open a large mp3 file(19Mb) results in the following error message:

Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files.
The file format plugin for the specified format was not properly initialised.

I have mp3 file association ticked in preferences and I have edited many mp3 files previously, although much smaller in size.

Any suggestions
