Subject:4.5 update

Can anyone tell me if I have a Sony Vaio with 4.5 sound forge on it ( it came with it) , why even after I am able to down load the update it will not open it, asking me for the original disk (as if it doesn't exist on the Sony?)I

Stuck with unopened downloads!!

Usually when software is packaged with PCs, they supply all the CDs or serial numbers you would ever need to re-install.
Did you buy this new or from someone else? If you registered with Sonic Foundry before, they'll be able to help you.
