Subject:Batch Converter 5: ID3 Tags Wiped Out

I tried using the "normalize" plug-in, but all of the ID3v2 tags were truncated and copied onto the ID3v1 tags, thus wiping out the previous ID3v1 tags. The ID3v2 tags were all blanks in the normalized files. thus, all ID3 tags, both v1 and v2, were lost.

Is there a solution to this problem?
