When using Sound Forge 6.0, how can you playback and record at the same time?

I don't know that you can do this. Sound Forge isn't a multitrack program, so there probably wouldn't be much use for it anyway.

You can run two instances of Sound Forge 6 simultaneously. If your sound card supports full duplex, you could play a file in one instance, then record in the other. If you set the sound card to record "What you hear", then it will mix the previously recorded material with the new material.
