I didn't try this with VeVid3, but when in the "ASIO" mode in acid4 and turning on SF and goin to "transport/record", I get a message that my soundcard is being used by another application, presumably acid4 in ASIO...when I have acid 4 in "MME" mode(windows classic wave driver), I don't get that message, and it looks like SF6 is ready and rarin to go...is this important..? So when I have acid 4 as "windows classic wavedriver (MME), there is no close previous application message...I don't think that's a bug at all, but if I were me, and usually I am, I think it's just simpler I stay with windows classic driver (MME?) in all my apps...what does anyone think...? I mean, hell, I layer...on rare occasion do I go with recording more than 2 things at once...

A lot of ASIO drivers are not designed to be multiclient, which may be why you're experiencing the problem you're having.

Interesting point; hadn't thot of that...! You're probably right on the money in my case,as I purchased my eMagic AW2 card back in Feb 98..."MME" is giving me no problems but for latency, and that's not a real biggy for me at this point...
