I have SF 4.5, and used it for the first time the other day. When I read the manual, there was an insert that said: "As a specila promotion, Sonic Foundry(R) is offering Sound Forge(R) and Sound Forge XP usere free UNLIMITED MP3 encoding. To take advantage of this offer, simply activate the MP3 plug-in included with Sound Forge to recieve UNLIMITED fee MP3 encodes." Followed by instructions on how to do so. Well I used it fine that night. Well... when I went to use it today, it asked for the serial number AGAIN...then told me: "Your grace period for this serial number had ended. If you would like to continue using %s please complete the registration process." I did register. Grace Period? What about my free unlimited encodes? Unlimited usually means, neverending. What do I do now? |

Contact technical support. You probably just need an activation code for the mp3 plug-in. Serial numbers are temporary, activation codes are permanent. J. |
