Subject:Question Regarding Recording

i'm wondering if sound forge can directly record the sound played on the computer. i want to record voices from online radio and mpeg files. but all i know is recording through speakers with a microphone... it sounds pretty bad.

Sure. This is usually done by choosing your soundcard's software mixer for recording input. ("What U Hear" in the Sound Blaster line of cards, "Monitor Mixer" or "Mixed Output" in others.)
