Hello all, I'm encoding snippets of audio 20-30 seconds in duration and exporting them as .wma and .mp3. the strange thing is...windows media player, winamp, quicktime...whatever program I'm using displays the file length as doube its actual duration. Example: a 24 second file saved as .wma and played in widows media player reads out as 48 seconds. The file is actually 24 seconds...I've timed it...but it keeps reading out as double the time. This happens with every file I've done for days...I'm going nuts. Any help would be very much appreciated. |

Check to see you have the proper sample rate set in File > Properties > Format for the file's actual sample rate. If the file's actual sample rate is 44,100 and you have it set to 22,050 the length will appear twice as long. MJ |
