I use sound forge and vegas normally for 2 years, modifying tempo without problems. Some days ago I need to adjust the <tempo> field in vegas...but the tempo is locked in 240BPM.. I have used the arrows to decrement it.. but jump to 240bpm again..I overwrite any tempo and jump to 240BPM, I try to adjust Tempo in Sound forge with the same problem... In the same menu the fields <Beats> and <Notes that gets one beat> are ok. I ussually changed tempo without problems in past days. There is no tempo adjustment, apart from applying time/pitch processors, or the playback 'Rate' slider in Vegas. Sure you are not confused with Acid ? geoff |

Geoff Thanks for your words, but my problem is with the <Tempo> of the <ruler>... I use the <ruler> in measures&Beats mode for edit operations... federico |

Is the ruler tempo beats and measures not set in "Special | Edit Termpo " ? This is a ruler marker setting only, not extracted from the audio as in Acid 'beat-Mapping", and does not affect the actual audio playback tempo. geoff |
