Hello, all: Here's my problem. Well, here's a couple of my problems, but since this isn't therapy, I'll keep it brief...I have ten WAV files that, in essence, suck. They're tinny, "patchy," and somewhat distorted (the voice was recorded over a phone line: not sure if the original recording group used a TBU or not). What can I do to bring out the best quality in these crummy files while still keeping file size small? These files will ultimately end up on a Web page...I'm relatively new to audio (just got SF6.0 last night!), so please bear with me! Thanks! Sincerely, Blake |

You can't polish a terd. Garbage IN equals Garbage OUT. Other than that you could use the sonic Foundry noise reduction to try and reduce some of the noise floor and you could add some EQ to try and make it not sound so thin. |
