i read that sf7.0 is in the works. when will this be avalible? anyone heard? and what will be some of the new features?thank

Well, it seems like major version upgrades to the top 3 packages (ACID, SoundForge, Vegas) seem to come out at about one year intervals lately. SF 6 was released on May 7th, 2002. I'll let you figure from there.

They have stated here that they will be looking at more advanced metering options. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of more direct integration with CDA5 too.

I think I would be lookin to upg the big 2 out of 3 this year (less CDA5), with V4 eventually, and...? hmmm, better wait a little...
