No iea why this keep s on happening. everytime i try and record audio with SF6 it crashes. I'm running XP service pack 1. The screen freezes and then comes back in safe mode, which then distorts the audio. i get a dialogue box that says 'windows has recovered from a device failure. please restart windows'. I have been using this machine to capture and edit video, so i'm not sure why this keeps on occuring. I am not using any other software whils t opperating SF. I have gone into event viewer and there is nothing on why the computer crashed. All i get is this event on the system: Error code 000000ea, parameter1 fe325980, parameter2 feba2750, parameter3 fed79638, parameter4 00000001. Does anyone have any ideas how i can solve this annoying problem? |

Try a different input device or changing the recording parameters (bit-depth, sample-rate, channels). Sounds like your current input device is telling Sound Forge it supports something it can't, then barfs. If that's not the case, please provide some hardware details. J. |
