I was wondering if anyone new how to cut words from songs with sound forge 6.0

Highlight the area of the word and hit <Delete> or use the muting tool. If you want to retain the music, you could try applying a vocal remover tool to the word itself, which may or may not be successful.

Won't leave much vocals left the avergae gangster rap 'song' though ....
