I'm at my friend's house using this program, and i don't see anyway to record more then a single track, anyone know how to do it? or does this program really suck that much!

SoundForge is a single stereo/mono track program. Take a look at Vegas if you want to do multitracking.

Acid 4's not too shabby for that either, and I believe both vegas 3 and 4 go for the same low price at Academic Superstore "beyotch"...you sound sophmoric, so check it out...

Like, MS Word wouldn't be the appropriate thing to do multi-track recording either. Use what ever suits you, but don't slag off SoundForge because what you actually need is something completely different.

Good luck.

Sound Forge itself is intended as an editor, and doesn't allow you to record multiple channels simultaneously.

But I think all recent versions of SF have cone with Vegas LE which is a lite version of Vegas, a multichannel audio (and video) app. Using Vegas LE you should be able to record multiple audio tracks simultaneously.

Well, to split hairs, SoundForge does allow multiple channel recording - a maximum of 2 channels to be precise !
