I'm assembling a 1/2 hour program (in Rex RT) that is composed of 6 music performances by different groups, recorded and edited independently. What's the best way to get an even overall audio level? I have SF 5.0.
Thanks for any help.

The usual sequence would beto normalise the tracks and compare apparent volumes. Those that sound a bit 'weak' can be bolstered with compression, and/or those that are overbearing can be reduced in relative level.

Thanks Geoff,
That's how I've done it in the past but I was wondering if there was some other way to do it. Do you know if Wave Hammer is ever used for anything like this?

WaveHammer - sure - it is a combination compressor/normaliser, and is ideal.
