... this is an old, too old issue, but, much more than that, an old dream! Sound Forge for mac! Just think about it, the best software & the best computer... it's only natural, nothing less than logic!

Always puzzled me that those most vociferous in macoidness are those that claim macs are better because you don't need to know anything about computers to use them ?!! And feel 'creative' because creative people use macs.

PCs are cheaper and faster than Macs. Windows XP is simpler and more streamlined than OS-X and just about as crash-proof. PCs have most of the end user market. There are many more software titles available for Windows. You can get a new PC and lots of SonicFoundry's software for about the same cost as just a Mac without the software. So ... why bother with the Mac?

They have sound forge for MAC. It's called "Peak". Use it and go away. Obviously none of us on this forum share your obscure viewpoint because we're using Sonic Foundry products, which are PC based only. If you really want to use Sound Forge on a Mac, then purchase a PC emulator for it, and a stereo editor like sound forge should have no problems running on a MAC.

Chien!
That clip is too funny! I hated those commercials for morons. I sent the link to one of my brothers who is the only Mac guy in a sea of PCs in our family. Even his daughters are old enough now to whine at him since they can't do the stuff their friends can on PC. Still laughing, is that you in the clip?

mjhig: that was submitted by Scott Lacy. That's himself in the clip. He'd like the world to know that he doesn't really have to have his mom cut his meat for him ;)
