I'll try to explain my question as best I can, but I'm new at this and will probably sound like an idiot. I have Sound Forge 6.0 and use it to edit Cheer Music. I did a pretty good job last season, but the new season is gearing up and they want me to edit for all our teams. I've been trying to figure something out without success. Is there any way to mix and match a looped beat with/over an existing music clip? The point is to make it sound more driving or danceable while sounding like they belong together. Is it even possble to do with this program? I have the book "Sound Forge Power", but I can't find anything in there. I read something similar in the FAQ's on this site but it didn't work with my version of SF. I also have Acid Pro 2.0. Is there a way to do this with ACID and then transfer it over to SF for editing? If there's anyone who understands what I'm trying to do, could you please throw some help my way? Thanks!!!!! |

ACID is probably a better place to start since you can combine multiple tracks and line up beats to the tempo. Neither of these is worth trying to do in Sound Forge. Once you have the project assembled in ACID you can save it as a WAV file for further editing in Sound Forge. |
