Im trying to use the internal midi clock sync with a mackie mdr 24/96 to control the track recording function in sound forge 6.0. Ive tried it in several configurations, plus i opened vegas 3.0 and tried using the midi clock there, but no go.All i want to do is make the recording sync with the playback from the mackie, and vice versa.Im not sure what the configuration is to make the sync work. System being used pentium 3 900 512 meg of sdram 40 gig seagate hd soundblaster live plat mackie mdr 24/96 |

Hit F1 with Sound Forge open and active. Under the "Index" tab, type in midi. A range of subjects should appear, including "MIDI Input Sync/Trigger". Double-click that subject. You may also want to ensure that the Mackie is actually sending the MTC. HTH, Iacobus |
