Easy.

Im trying to convert MPEG files into wav format and I've been told you can do this with Sound Forge, which I have descovered does support MPEG files..praise the lord! But my files need to be initialised before they can be used inside sound forge and I think that means that they need to be decoded, but i'm not sure if that is the case or not, or indeed if it is how to do this? Could anyone instruct me on what to do next?

Many thanks
Double d

I assume you are trying to work with MP3 files. If so, just click the "Open" icon, select the file, and it will open in Sound Forge as a .WAV file. It will end up as a .WAV file and you can then do with it as you wish.

I believe the demo does not allow you to open MP3/MPEG files due to licensing restrictions. While the full version of Sound Forge does open, edit, and save these files, you can't do it with the demo.
