I'm a little new to Sound Forge and originally bought it just for the Acoustic Mirror plug-in - to use in Cakewalk's Sonar. Well, I've started experimenting with SF itself as I thought it would be useful as a mastering tool and found that it certainly is. However, today I ran into a problem. I was using Izotope's Ozone as a plug-in in SF and it worked well until I inadvertently double clicked on something and now the plug-in window no longer has a vertical scrollbar which I need to access some of the Ozone parameters. The plug-in window also no longer floats over top of the wave window but either replaces it or is tiled with it. I've tried all the different window options and nothing will return me to the way it worked originally. I'd greatly appreciate a hint on how I can restore the original presentation of the plug-in window. Thanks in advance! Nick |

A bit odd ! Try grabbing a corner of the window and stretching it as per normal windows usage ? geoff |

If you were using the plug-in chainer, you probably docked it. Just grab the handle at the top or left of the frame and hold down Control while dragging it off to force it not to dock. There is a general pref to toggle the behavior of the Control key during drag if you want things not to attempt to dock by default. J. |

Thanks!!! That worked!!! I was indeed using the plug-in chainer and inadvertently docked it. I'll look into changing the default regarding docking as you suggest. Best regards, Nick |
