Hey Guys... for some reason if i do not install soundforge6 on a clean system say just after the operating system is installed.. i have problems with my settings not being saved.. even things like textured background or opening soundforge in a full window just doesn't happen...i realise that some other programme is preventing this what can i do ,i now have a system that i want to install soundforge on and once again the above is happening.. Is there a work around, have you struck the problem before, and if you try to organise the dx effects the programme exits! what can i do? cheers Dennis |

Do you just have the one user account in XP ? Do you have XP set that installed apps are available to all users ? Does it do this during one windows session (ie. does it remember after closing and re-opening SF), or does it lose the config only after re-starting Windows ? Are you closing down correctly ? geoff |

geoff it does it all the time there must be a programme preventing soundforge from having full access.. as soon as you close it and open it again nothing is saved.. I do not want to have to format and start again... if it goes on first it is cool you can install what you like all is ok.. so i know something is preventing access but what... have not struck any other programme that is affected that way......... Just thought that someone out there may have run across it.. could itbe quicktime movie a programme i use installs that? |
