Subject:Right channel issues

I am recording guitar music by running a line from my amp to my sound card (line in) but sound only comes in on one channel. How can I fix this?

The line out of your amp is probably mono, the line in on your soundcard is probably stereo causing it to record on one channel. You will have to adapt from 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo.
