Hi there! I am using SF6 and have a problem with Spectrum Analyser. The problem is when I normalise my fies and check it in spectrum analyser it doen't show level of 0db. What ever I do with multi band compessor it alwaus shows level of -6db maximum , but never 0db. May be I am using it not right, but unfortunately I didn't find any tutorial on Stectrum Analyser over the web. Can anybody help? Thanks Michael

It is quite possible that a complex signal peaking at 0dB has no individual freuency components avove -6dB.. All those -6dB peaks (and lowerlevels0 can add up to make the total peak level.

To test, try a single frequency, say 1KHz, at 0dB. Then run the specanal on that. You should then have a single frequencuy at 0dB.
