Subject:Creating new user - import old settings

I guess the subject is quite obvious.

After making a new Windows' user in W2k I needed to reconfigure my Sound Forge 6.0. That is quite normal and not so problematic.

But what I would like to do is to get all the settings I saved in the plug-in chainer window, also would like to get all the settings I saved under many other plug-ins.

I looked in the previous windows user's folder (application data) and found a Sonic Foundry directory. Went deeper inside > Sound Forge > 6.0 > Presets and found 3 folders with awfully long names. I copied those folders, 3 in all, into the same location at the new user's application data folder. It did help.

Is there a way to do it? Lots of precious good work there.

Preset Manager, a separate application that ships with Sound Forge 6.0, allows you to import and export presets between installations.
