Folks: How do I specify SoundForge to stop after 90 minutes? I am converting many old cassettes and don't want to end up with a bunch of gigantic files. My cassette player is smart enough to "flip" the tape but there's no way to stop it after one pass so SF keeps on recording. Thanks, - Alex - alexn@bluesamba.com |

Alarm clock ?!!! Seriously though, why bother ? Go out to a used CD store, and buy the real thing. Chances are they'll sound *much* better, and oldies can generally be got pretty cheap. Of course if they are not commercial releases you are stuck with the cassette source. In that case you can choose the mode 'Punch-In (record a specific length) in the record dialogue. Set the length to 90 minutes, or a bit more just in case) . Could be more intuitively named .... geoff |
