Hi I have extracted a lot of wave files from a drumloops cd. Every track contains a number of loops and now I'm cutting out these loops in soundforge to get usable drumtracks to use in Acid. The problem I have is that for some loops I get double kicks i.e. kick drum sounds like two beats played right after each other even though its just one beat. This happens when I play my loop in Acid. Does anyone know why this happens and how to avoid it? Thanks!! |

What tempo are the loops you're creating vs. the tempo of the song? If your loops are set at a fast tempo and the tempo of the song is slow, you start to get artifacts that could sound like "double hits." If you're isolating single samples, save them as OneShots and see if that doesn't solve your problem. |
