Is it possible in SoundForge to invert a wave around an axis of frequency? The Invert/Flip only does it based on time.

Given, say, a bandwidth of 20-4000 Hz, making what would normally appears at 40 Hz be at 3980 and so forth..

Anybody done anything like this?

Interesting concept, but i think you're bordering on "rocket science" here. My guess is that even if algorythms to do this could be created, the processing power necessary would be prohibitive. It might be easy for simple wave forms, but complex waveforms are very difficult to break down into precise frequencies. In real life sounds the frequences often vary over the span of single waves which could make this very tricky indeed. Hmmmm. Memories of Fourier analysis and my old Calc & Geometry classes are rearing their ugly little pointed heads ...
