Acid 4.0c's "Automation" plug-in bugs. -ACID Product Family

Subject:Acid 4.0c's "Automation" plug-in bugs. Posted by: Apico Date:5/30/2003 4:05:22 PM Problems are as below: 1. I believed that this problem not for user but Sonic Foundry's developer. 2. I'm using P3 with 768mbs Ram. 3. I had upgraded Acid 4.0b to 4.0c. (Acid 4.0c 14.6mbs upgrade ver.) 4. I found that was a big crashed by upgrading to 4.0c. 5. It is "why Graphic Dynamics,Multi-Band Dynamics,Smooth/Enhance already became "Automatable" plug-Ins when i upgraded from Acid 4.0b to 4.0c???" 6. It made all my presets crashed.(Graphic Dynamics>Graphic EQ>Vibrato) 7. All Plug-Ins's Values were invalid. 8. Clicks And Crackles on the playback.(Never happened in 4.0b) 9. Previous Presets are useless in this 4.0c ver. Solutions are as below: 1. Uninstall or Repair wont solve the problem unless all files of Sonic Foundry's software or Plug-Ins have to be delete manually. 2. Overwrite isnt the key as well. My problems are as below: 1. I lost all my presets from 1000+ files 2. Reformat partition and reinstall these softwares. Thanks for this "wonderful-bugs-free" proggy.

I have some questions for you: 0. What was your big crash? 1. What operating system are you using? 2. What other Sonic Foundry software do you have installed, including versions? 3. If you go into the problem plug-ins and click on About, what version and build does it say there, such as "Version 1.0f, build 274)"? 4. As far as clicks and crackles, what kind of soundcard do you have, and what driver version are you using? 5. When you initially installed ACID 4.0b, how did you install it? Joel

I have some questions for you:

0. What was your big crash?
1. What operating system are you using?
2. What other Sonic Foundry software do you have installed, including versions?
3. If you go into the problem plug-ins and click on About, what version and build does it say there, such as "Version 1.0f, build 274)"?
4. As far as clicks and crackles, what kind of soundcard do you have, and what driver version are you using?
5. When you initially installed ACID 4.0b, how did you install it?
