greetings:
I downloaded a plug in (vocal remover and auto tune from analogX): the Direct X plug in manager can't see it, as it won't let me go up the tree to the program files: How do I make it recognize it?

DX Manager ?!!! You shouldn't need to be messing around with that.

You install the plugin, and it should just be there when you open your plugins dialogue. From memory it comes up as 'AnalogX Vremover'. so you may be looking at the wrong end of the list.
