Batch Converter sounds ideal for this purpose but I need to know how it handles metadata (like ID3 tags). I assume it will take the summary info from a wav file and make and id3 tag (i want id3v2), but what if the wavs don't contain any summary info? Can Batch Converter be pointed to external files that contain that info or create an empty tag with nothing but spaces in it? That would be required to avoid re-writing the entire file if I wanted to add tags later. Anybody have experience with Batch Converter and its capabilities for dealilng with tags?
