i have windos 98
and sf 4.5
i am tring to record from a md sound to my comp but nothing hapening
my computer do not rid the sund from the md
if any wan cen help me i will be very gratfol

You probably don't have the sound card's mixer set to use the line in input. Usually it defaults to microphone until you change it. Double-click the little yellow speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen. This brings up the mixer control panel. Click Options / Properties / Recording / OK. You will now be looking at the controls used for recording instead of those used just for playback. Select the Line-in control and adjust the volume as necessary.
