Subject:CD Drives not detected when "Extract Audio"

Hi everyone/anyone..My version of 5.0 has lost it's ability to extract audio from CD. The applet loads but the CDrom drives do not appear in the dropdown (they used too).

I have all updates installed..I notice on my work PC version that it performs a prescan for the drives...I do not see this happening on my DAW PC.

I had the same problem when i tried to upgrade to version 6. I was told my cd/rom was not compatible, and that they were aware of the problem and it would be fixed in a later update. Try completely uninstalling 5 then reload it, you're upgrades may be causing the problem! Good luck
