Subject:No DX Plugin Facilities! Posted by: jonathanleebrown Date:7/10/2003 12:10:38 AM I am playing with the demo version of SF6, and have run unto the common problem of disabled 8.3 filenames. Ok, so I: -uninstal SF -changed the 8.3 filename setting -deleted refrences to SF locations in the registry -finally reinstalling SF. This removes the rundll dialog error, however, I can't get anything pertaining to DX Plugins to work. Selecting "View->Plug-in Manager" instantly closes the program without any indications of why. Same thing for anytihng in the "DX Favorites" menu. I would really like to have a chance to use the new DX features, but it appears not to work for my system. Has anyone else seen this? Jon
