iam having a prob importing audio files with .mpa, mp2

anyone know what the prob is ???

Have you been able to import them in the past or is this the first time you've tried it? If this is the first time then you probably haven't registered the MPEG plugin yet. Create a new file with anything in it, or open up an existing .wav file, then save it as an mp3 file. This should pop up a little registration screen. Fill this out and submit it. It's free, but the MPEG plugin does require separate registration from the rest of the software.

Chienworks: i used to use v5.0 before and i could import .mpa and .mp2, but i then
got v6.0e, so i uninstalled v5.0 and put v6.0e on and from then on not able to import .mpa, .mp2 audio files. I have just tried to do what you said in your reply, but
no box came up!, anything else u might think of to try?
