Subject:loop playback

here's the situation, just grabbed sonic foundry to record small demos for our band that I'm in. I've messed with this before, and I have most of the stuff down as in editing and what not, the only thing I can't figure out for the life of me is how to loop playback while recording. We record a scratch track, and than record individually after the tempo track has been set. So we need to play that scratch track while recording different layers. Sure this is easy topic. thx

It's not a multi-track. There is no playback during record in Sound Forge other than the pre-record preview options. You'd be better off using a multi-track application like Vegas. A free version (VegasLE) is included on the Sound Forge 6 CD. Dowloadable demos are available on the website.
