Subject:Audio Slows down

I'm new to the program. i'm using a demo. i'm sure this gets asked a lot, so just tell me where someone has already answered it and i'll go to that string. my question is whenever i try to put 2 mp3's together, the one i try to put inside the other one slows down very bad. i don't know what does it. any help is appreciated.
