Subject:Extract Region isn't in my tools menu

I'm using SFStudio and I want to save a region to file, but the help button says to choose Extract Regions from the Tools menu and that's not an option listed on my Toos menu. What am I missing here? What I really want to do is save a portion of a file I'm working on to its own file and can't figure out what to do. SAVE AS wants to save the whole file I'm working on, and that's not what I want to do. Thanks.

Extract Region is only available in the full version of SoundForge.

It's still pretty easy to do this with Studio though. Double-click between the region markers to select that region. Ctrl-C to copy then Ctrl-E to paste to a new file. This new file will contain only that region. Save it to a new file name.
