Cubase cannot record the incoming audio as it sends midi information to my keyboard. (I know it should be able to, but just trust me.. it wont do it on the machine im on) .... but sound forge records the audio perfectly as cubase tells my keyboard what to play, unfortunatly there is a gap between when i hit rec. on SF and when i hit play on Cubase. So... I'm trying to get Sound Forge 5 to sync with Cubase SX so when i hit play on cubase it will automatically start recording the midi tracks as audio in sound forge... i know its rediculous, but with my current setup its my ONLY option. I know its possible with MTC/SMPTE synchronization (the sync button right next to the record button in sound forge).. but i just don't know how to make them cooperate with eachother.. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
