Subject:lost stereo record capability

I'm sure I'm stupidly overlooking something but I can't seem to find the answer. I am a three year veteran of Sound Forge, and just recently i stopped getting stereo recordings. I also use Vegas 3.0 and have no problem at all getting stereo recordings there using the identical studio setup. Obviously I must have something wrong in my SF settings but have been unable to find it.

Assuming you are talking about Sound Forge 5x/6x, click the "Record" button in the toolbar. In the record applet click "New", is the Channels radio button for "Stereo" selected? If it is then it must be a setting in your soundcard's mixer or the wrong jack plugged into the wrong input.

That was it. It was set to mono. Thanks a bunch!
