Subject:Multi-track recording

I am looking to upgrade my sound card to something like the Delta 44 which has a breakout box with 4 I/Os. Can Sound Forge 5 or 6 record 4 tracks simultaneously? With my current sound card usinf SF 5.0 there is only the option to record in mono or stereo, but I am unsure if this is a hardware or software limitation.

SoundForge is limited to mono or stereo. That's all it does. If you want multitrack then look at Sony/SonicFoundry's Vegas instead.
