working with Sound Forge and Vegas -Sound Forge - PC

After you have edited and saved the file, Vegas automatically detects the updated file and asks if you want to update the event in the project. When you first install Vegas, it searches for Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge. If Sound Forge is detected, Vegas automatically assigns that program as your sound editor. However, if you do not have Sound Forge, you may specify the location of your preferred audio editor on the Audio Tab in the Preferences dialog.
