Subject:Recommendations for Mastering?

I am new to hands-on digital and analog recording but have been around it for years. I would like to know if anyone can recommend any good publications on audio engineering and production. I would like to get hip to mastering, recording, pre and post-production techniques, and the like. Any tips or advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Sound On Sound http://www.sound-on-sound.com . The best. UK, International, plus "E' versions available. Internation is best for me, with no UK advertising clutter. I don't like 'e-reading' stuff.....

The Artist Pro website offers a great FREE audio course. You just have to enter the site, create a login and a password.
