Hi all I have a tricky question. Is there any way to replace the audio portion in a WMV(windowsmedia video) file without having to re-encode the whole file again. Scenario I have encoded about 15 wmv files from my Media100 station through MediaCleaner 5. All the files are the same except from the subtiteling. Strange is that some of the files have audio dropouts(silence) in random places. Now i hoped that i just could copy the audio portion of a good file and replace the bad audio and then just save the file, simple!!? But SoundForge wants to re-encode the whole file Video and Audio. Is there any other tool that could do this. Its like multiplexing & de-multiplexing for Windowsmedia files...... Any suggestions? Regards Bit |

Have you tried saving as another format that supports video? (Like AVI?) If you need help, contact me via RodelWorks below. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
