I am trying to plan from my Korg D12 recorder through my computers soundcard and record with Sound Forge (I am using Sound Forge to master down from the Korg). Anyway, I can hear the music through the speakers, but the meters dont respond (they hand out around -40ish) and when I record, I get nothing. The input options are Microsoft Sound Mapper, SB 128 PCI Record, Game Compatible Device and Voice Modem Wave. When I select the Game or Modem options, I get an error. When I use the MS or PCI options, it will let me record, but nothing gets recorded (although I can hear music through the speakers). Any suggestions. |

In Sound Forge's Options select the SB 128 PCI. Double-click the speaker icon in the taskbar > Options > Properties > Recording > OK > select "Line in" and of course be sure you are connected to the line in on the PCI 128 via 1/8" stereo plug. MJ |
