I wish to develop SoFo audio plug-ins. I understand the easiest way is to use Microsoft's Media 6.0 SDK. Here's my 'problem' : I have done 3 different DirectX installations on my computer, (in the following order): 1.)I installed something called the DirectX Files SDK, ( DXi2 SDK Version 2.0.2.2), from the website: http://www.thedirectxfiles.com/developers.htm. 2.)I installed the DirectX Media 6.0 SDK 3.)I installed the DirectX 9.0 SDK Now I want to use the DirectX Media 6.0 SDK to develop my SoFo audio plug-ins. Question: Do I need to uninstall the DirectX 9.0 SDK, or the DirectX Files SDK? Do I need to re-install the DirectX 6.0 Media SDK? Do I need to take any other actions to make sure that my plug-in development with the DirectX 6.0 Media SDK works correctly? I hesitate to start building/compiling projects until I am sure of my development environment. Thanks very much. |
