Subject:Mono 24-bit file problems Posted by: dogdrum Date:9/11/2003 8:53:40 AM Hi, I just installed SF6.0e on XP-Pro, and I'm having two problems I've never encountered when I was using 6.0e on Win98SE 1. 24-bit Mono files only play from the left output, even though the Meters in SF show both sides correctly. (24-bit Stereo files play fine). 1. 24-bit Mono + Stereo files take a couple seconds to output any sound after playback is initiated, even though the file plays and the Meters show activity immediately. (16-bit Mono + Stereo files output sound instantly as expected) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, dogdrum

What's your soundcard or audio interface? Could be its drivers causing the problem?
